National Single Pan Band Prelims kicks in Tobago Print E-mail

National Single Pan Band Preliminaries kicks off the pan competition in Tobago.
 
Five (5) bands have registered to compete in the friendly pan music rivalry on Friday 04 February 2010, at the Roxborough Complex, Roxborough, Tobago, from 7:00 pm.
 
Leading the charge is Pan Fanatics with the Gerard Balfour arrangement of Winsford Devine’s  “This Melody Sweet” sung by Baron (Timothy Watkins)
 
Selections include two from the 2011 music catalogue while the remaining three are perennial favourites.
 
The order of appearance of the bands and their Panorama tunes are listed below.

Conventional Bands (Small & Medium) will have their play off at the Garden Side Car Park, Scarborough, Tobago, on Friday 11th February 2011. Competition starts at 7:00 pm. Admission to this event is $50.

Large Bands like their Trinidad counterparts will be subjected to a count and adjudicators’ comments while they perform.  The date for the Preliminaries visit is Tuesday 15 February 2010 from 7:00 pm.
