Tobago Small and Medium Prelims PDF Print E-mail

Three (3) bands will be making their Panorama debut as the National Panorama Preliminaries get on the way in Tobago on Saturday evening.

They are C&B Crown Cordaans of Bon Accord, Uptown Fascinators of Plymouth and Tobago Pan-Thers  of Golden Lane. The latter was formerly in the Single Pan Band category.

A total of eleven (11) bands  in the Small and Medium categories will be vying for places in the semi final round on Sunday 05 February 2012, at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain.

The competition begins at 6:00pm and not 7:00pm as previously stated with C&B Crown Cordaans in Bon Accord, Tobago. They will be performing “Anya” composed by Winston Scarborough, sung by De Fosto and arranged by Harrison Mc Millan.

Each of the above bands will be judged at their respective panyards/theatres.

The order of appearance is listed below. (See attached).

Judges in this round are Ezra Joseph, Jeannette Johnson, Cuthbert Matthews and Kenrick Noel (Small), Damion Phillip, Sherry Ann Saunders, Joanna Ragbir and Bernadette Roberts (Medium).

The sole Large band, RBC Redemption Sound Setters, will be play its Panorama selection, “Gie Dem Tempo” on  Monday  30th January at which time they will be subjected to a count and adjudicators’ comments.

Panorama 2012 is in tribute to the late Dr. Pat Bishop TC HBM and Ralph McDonald, Grammy Award winner.
