Pangelics Steelpan Ensemble is designed to render inspirational music at Christian services, and certain special events such as weddings, concerts and other celebrations. It is also established as a means of assisting other worthy Christian ministry and humanitarian ventures.
The ensemble was established in 2011 after its founder Eshean Arjoon received from his mother, funding for the band's instruments.
PSE values are based upon:
Love for and Service to the God of Creation as proclaimed in the Holy Bible & the Uplifting of Humanity - PSE is a steelpan ministry designed to bring Glory to the God of Creation (The Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and to assist in the betterment of humanity. Its members are considered ministers in this venture.
Team Spirit - We strive for togetherness and are motivated to elevate one another to achieve success. We help each other by showing initiative, creativity, and developing the exchange of knowledge and expertise as it relates to PSE, our personal faith and spirituality and overall lives.
Professionalism - We are deeply committed to musical development and performances, and the conduct and image we display.
Partnership - We seek to foster trusting, long-lasting relationships of mutual benefit with those who desire to support, and partner with PSE and with those whom we serve.
Outreach - We volunteer our skills to plan and participate in Christian outreach activities that relate to performances of PSE and desire to pass on our musical skills to youth who are desirous of learning the steelpan.
PSE’s Aim, Mission and Vision are as follows:
To be an instrument of spreading Heaven’s Love and Hope to all peoples using the steelpan and our personal influence.
To render dedicated service to God and man through inspirational music using the steelpan, and Christian outreach initiatives while passing on knowledge and skills of the steelpan to the younger generation.
To be the leading, most dynamic and influential Christian Steel Orchestra within the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean and farther away.
