Desperadoes Continues its Nine Fridays
National Panorama 2016 winners, Desperadoes continues its Nine Fridays series on August 12 at the new
headquarters, Frederick Street, Port of Spain, from 7:00 pm. Seven (7) steel orchestras including Desperadoes Youth Steelband, CAL Invaders. N&M Trinidad All Stars, FCB SuperNovas, bp Renegades, HADCO Phase II Pan Groove and host band Desperadoes are listed to perform.
Admission is free.
The event was first staged in musical tribute to the former Prime Minister Patrick Manning.
“Don’t miss this one”, advises the organizers,” no talk just pan music”.
Nine Fridays will have its final run on August 19 at the same venue. The participants include St. Francois Youth Steel Orchestra, Deperadoes Youth, T&T Defence Steel Orchestra and Flabej.
Though not listed on Pan Trinbago’s steelpan month activities, the event is steelpan focused and celebratory.
