DBESS and Renegades Carnival 2019 Band Launch “Savannah Nostalgia”
De Belmont Exotic Stylish Sailor band (DBESS) in collaboration with bptt Renegades Steel Orchestra and A+ Children’s Carnival Band will launch its Carnival 2019 presentation “Savannah Nostalgia”.
VENUE: Belmont Community Centre, Jerningham Avenue, Belmont, from
TIME: 8:00 pm.

Spokesperson Keith Simpson revealed “bp Renegades has been part of this initiative for the past three (3) years.
“We strongly believe that traditional mas should be embraced, hence we have added a children’s aspect to the fancy sailor mas so that there is continuity.”
The band’s sections depict many aspect of the Queen’s Park savannah including poui trees, pan in the Hollows, Independence Day fireworks, horse racing, Panorama night and kite flying.
Simpson added that the band will be competing in the Small Band category and will have a king, queen and many individuals. Music on the road will be provided by bptt Renegades Youth Steel Orchestra (Monday) and with DJ Dynamic Sounds (Tuesday).
