PAN TRINBAGO LAUNCHES SOCIAL PROSPERITY FUND AND PAN DO-NATION DRIVE Pan Trinbago Inc. has joined a number of organizations across Trinidad & Tobago in providing assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the establishment of the Pan Trinbago Social Prosperity Fund, the pan body will seek to meet the pressing needs of the less fortunate and vulnerable members in the pan community. With the tag line, ”Let’s Do What We Can As A Nation to Help Those in Need”, the Pan Do-Nation Drive will be launched on Friday May 29, 2020 via Facebook and You Tube at 6:00 pm. Interested persons can access details on the initiative on Pan Trinbago website and social media ie facebook, twitter and email and by contributing to the RBC Checking Acc. Pan Trinbago Youth Arm #100088110267837, or via the “Pan Do-Nation Drive” campaign on FundMeTnT at fundmetnt.com (see attached flyer). Non-perishable food items will also be accepted. Pan Trinbago Social Prosperity Fund is established to provide tangible support and empowerment programs to vulnerable families, supporters, players and workers of the steelpan community that are experiencing hardship. According to Mrs. Beverley Ramsey-Moore, Pan Trinbago President: “It is important to act now and provide tangible practical support during these unsetting times”. This is a unique, collaborative concept to improve the lives of the steelpan community which spans three hundred (300) steelbands, four thousand (4000) players and their families, tuners, arrangers, manufacturers and administrators during this pandemic which has dimmed the light on “live” entertainment, halted panyard activities and performances decreasing revenue streams. The Pan Trinbago Social Prosperity Fund Committee comprises Chairman by Lauren Pierre (Interim Trustee) six other members and an advisor. The President or designate shall be an ex-officio member.
