Continued COVID-19 Mask-Wearing Requirement at Pan Trinbago Inc. Offices

Speaking at a recent MOH media conference last Wednesday, Mr. Terrence Deyalsingh, advised that from Sunday 17th July 2022, the masking mandate will be lifted. Therefore, the legal requirement will be dropped in favor of recommendations by the Ministry of Health.

However, the law allows employers or businesses to impose requirements to ensure a safe working environment. A thorough risk assessment which gave due consideration to the Ministry of Health's General Recommendations for Mask Use (Presentation- General Recommendations for Mask Use | Ministry of Health) was completed. As such, it was found that the necessary precautions are required for the safety of our staff and visitors.

Therefore, as a measure of safety, effective Monday 18th July 2022, Pan Trinbago Inc. will continue to require all staff and visitors to wear face masks on the premises. This will be applicable to all Pan Trinbago Inc. Offices (Head Office/ Regional Offices/Treasury Department - Grand Stand, Queen's Park Savannah and Drum Factory) and will remain in effect until further notice.

Thank you all for your usual kind cooperation on this matter.

Please stay safe.
