Power Stars Steel Orchestra successfully hosted its Fifth Annual Youth Expo

On Saturday 31st May, 2025, Power Stars Steel Orchestra successfully hosted its Fifth Annual Youth Expo at the St. James Amphitheatre, Port of Spain. The event was a vibrant celebration of youth talent, creativity, and commitment to the national instrument—the steelpan.

In a strong show of support, Pan Trinbago’s leadership was present, including President Beverly Ramsey-Moore, Vice President Mr. Terry Bernard, Treasurer Mrs. Lauren Pierre-West, and Public Relations Officer Mr. Kwesi Moore and others. Their attendance underscored the organization's unwavering commitment to the development of young pannists and the Steelpan movement at large.

This initiative aligns with Pan Trinbago’s declaration of 2025 as “The Year of the Youths”, further reinforcing the organization’s dedication to empowering the next generation of steelpan musicians, leaders, and innovators.

Power Stars’ Youth Expo continues to serve as a vital platform for nurturing young talent and fostering a sense of pride, discipline, and unity through music.
